1. Charlie Thorne and the Last Equation

Charlie Thorne and the Last Equation (2019)[8-9] establishes Charlie Thorne as a young genius recruited into an off-the-books CIA mission involving Albert Einstein’s equation. It introduces the series pattern of historical clues, international pursuit, and dangerous scientific knowledge.[2]
It also sets up Charlie’s connection to Dante Garcia and Milana Moon, whose roles become central to the series.[2]
2. Charlie Thorne and the Lost City

Charlie Thorne and the Lost City (2021)[10-11] follows Charlie after the events of Charlie Thorne and the Last Equation, with the equation now held only in her memory and multiple agencies still pursuing her. The adventure shifts to clues left by Charles Darwin and a discovery in South America.[3]
It expands the series’ recurring structure while carrying forward Charlie’s danger from the first book.[3]
3. Charlie Thorne and the Curse of Cleopatra

Charlie Thorne and the Curse of Cleopatra (2022)[12-13] continues Charlie’s search through dangerous historical secrets, this time following clues connected to Cleopatra. Dante and Milana remain central to the action, while earlier discoveries and Charlie’s reputation make her increasingly difficult for intelligence agencies to control.[4]
This book expands the series by linking a new historical mystery to the consequences of the earlier adventures.[4]
4. Charlie Thorne and the Royal Society

Charlie Thorne and the Royal Society (2024)[14-15] continues from Charlie, Dante, and Milana’s situation as fugitives and follows a new trail connected to Isaac Newton and the Royal Society. It draws on the series’ pattern of hidden discoveries, coded clues, rival pursuers, and moral danger surrounding powerful knowledge.[5]
It also brings forward the recurring tension between Charlie’s independence and the agencies trying to possess what she knows.[5]
