1. Bared to You

Bared to You (2012)[7-8] introduces Eva Tramell after her move to New York City and her first encounter with Gideon Cross at the Crossfire Building. This novel establishes the series’ central relationship, including its intense physical attraction, emotional boundaries, history of trauma, and conflicts over control, safety, and trust.[2]
This foundational installment sets the stage for all that follows in the series.[2]
2. Reflected in You

Reflected in You (2012)[9-11] continues Eva and Gideon’s relationship as jealousy, secrecy, and unresolved trauma place increasing strain on their relationship. This book extends the continuity of Gideon’s guarded past, Eva’s vulnerability, and the pressures from former partners, family connections, and outside threats.[3]
Rather than offering a new romance, this novel builds on the previous book’s unresolved conflicts.[3]
3. Entwined with You

Entwined with You (2013)[12-16] follows Eva and Gideon as they manage a relationship shaped by secrecy, public attention, and continuing emotional volatility. This novel moves the series into a more complicated stage, with questions of trust, commitment, work, family, and reputation becoming increasingly difficult to separate.[4]
The plot and emotional development build on the previous two books.[4]
4. Captivated by You

Captivated by You (2014)[17-21] focuses on the early pressures surrounding Eva and Gideon’s secret marriage, especially the challenge of forming an equal partnership while both remain shaped by fear, trauma, and control. Outside scandals, family revelations, professional manipulation, and threats from the past test the relationship’s stability.[5]
Continuing from prior events, this book further develops the ongoing narrative.[5]
5. One with You

One with You (2016)[22-25] completes the series by following Eva and Gideon as they prepare for a public wedding and confront the remaining pressures around family, past relationships, trauma, and personal security. This novel draws together developments in relationships and the external conflicts that have built up across the earlier books.[6]
As the final entry, it should be read after the preceding books, as each lays the necessary emotional and narrative groundwork for this conclusion.[6]
