Although it’s unnecessary to read the Honey Mountain books in order, readers will get more context and continuity by reading them in publication order,[2-6] which coincides with their chronological order,[7-11] as follows:

1. Always Mine
Always Mine (2022)[2] follows bakery owner Vivian Thomas and firefighter Niko West as their lifelong friendship develops into romance. Their growing intimacy unfolds alongside family loyalty, old wounds, and threats tied to Niko’s abusive father.[7]
This book establishes Honey Mountain, the Thomas sisters, the firehouse community, and the family connections that shape later installments.[7]
2. Ever Mine
Ever Mine (2022)[3] reunites sports psychologist Everly Thomas with hockey star Hawk Madden when she is hired to help him decide whether to continue his career. Their past, boundaries, and grief complicate both her assignment and their renewed closeness.[8]
This installment expands the series beyond Honey Mountain and positions Ashlan for the live-in nanny role that leads into the next book.[8]
3. Make You Mine
Make You Mine (2022)[4] follows aspiring romance writer Ashlan Thomas as she becomes a live-in nanny to firefighter Jace King and his two daughters. Their age difference, his custody concerns, and the girls’ need for stability turn attraction into a complicated family decision.[9]
This book develops a household introduced earlier while advancing the family’s marriages, pregnancies, and business plans.[9]
4. Simply Mine
Simply Mine (2022)[5] brings kindergarten teacher Charlotte Thomas back into close contact with architect Ledger Dane, her best friend’s brother and part of her past. Wedding preparations, family conflict, and Ledger’s professional dissatisfaction force them to confront what separated them.[10]
This installment expands the Dane family’s place in Honey Mountain while setting up Dylan’s legal career and connection to the San Francisco Lions.[10]
5. Only Mine
Only Mine (2022)[6] follows attorney Dylan Thomas as she joins the San Francisco Lions and clashes with former Navy SEAL Wolfgang Wayburn. A recruiting trip, workplace rivalry, family crises, and Wolf’s loyalties test the boundary between their professional and personal lives.[11]
This book concludes the five Thomas sisters’ central sequence while expanding the world to include the Wayburn family and Cottonwood Cove.[11]
