Main books
1. InvestiGators

InvestiGators (2020)[18] establishes Mango and Brash as alligator agents working for S.U.I.T., an undercover agency reached through the sewer system. Its case begins with the disappearance of a famous cupcake chef and broadens into missing technology, bank thefts, and the first appearance of Daryl as Crackerdile.[4]
It supplies the central agency setup, major recurring characters, and the initial villain thread.[4]
2. InvestiGators: Take the Plunge

InvestiGators: Take the Plunge (2020)[19] continues Mango and Brash’s work inside S.U.I.T. while returning to Crackerdile as an active threat. Its plot links a stolen combinotron code, the Science Factory, Prime Robot, and Bill Plungerman, creating new consequences from earlier conflicts.[5]
It also develops the agency’s gadgets, headquarters procedures, and recurring supporting characters, making it a continuation rather than a detachable case.[5]
3. InvestiGators: Off the Hook

InvestiGators: Off the Hook (2021)[20] follows the agents as they investigate Bill Plungerman and confront the continuing fallout from Crackerdile’s efforts to restore himself. This book expands the history between Brash and Daryl while introducing Hookline and Slinker as important characters in the series.[6]
Its ending changes Mango and Brash’s partnership arrangement, leading into the next book.[6]
4. InvestiGators: Ants in Our P.A.N.T.S.

InvestiGators: Ants in Our P.A.N.T.S. (2021)[21] picks up from Brash’s condition and Mango’s temporary partnership with RoboBrash. It combines a citywide crisis involving giant ants with Brash’s unresolved guilt over Daryl and Cilantro’s growing role inside S.U.I.T.[7]
This book is especially important for continuity because it changes the team’s headquarters, restores the main partnership, and moves Cilantro into a more active field-agent position.[7]
5. InvestiGators: Braver and Boulder

InvestiGators: Braver and Boulder (2022)[22] takes place after S.U.I.T. has relocated into its massive robot-alligator headquarters. The case begins with a stolen collectible rock but develops into another stage of the Daryl and Crackerdile thread.[8]
It also connects earlier radioactive accidents, environmental wrongdoing, and the agency’s new base, giving the first five original books a stronger continuing arc than the later standalone investigations.[8]
6. InvestiGators: Heist and Seek

InvestiGators: Heist and Seek (2022)[23] shifts the series into a museum mystery involving stolen art, forged masterpieces, and a gala under threat. Mango and Brash still rely on familiar S.U.I.T. methods, disguises, gadgets, and support staff, but the case is more self-contained than the earlier Daryl-focused arc.[9]
It marks the beginning of a more episodic phase of the original series.[9]
7. InvestiGators: All Tide Up

The InvestiGators: All Tide Up (2023)[24] sends Mango and Brash into a maritime investigation after a cruise liner disappears and a replacement voyage raises further suspicions. The case uses the established S.U.I.T. framework while bringing back Hookline and Slinker in a new context.[10]
Its pirate plot is largely separate from the early Crackerdile storyline, but prior familiarity with the agents and their world still helps.[10]
8. InvestiGators: Class Action

InvestiGators: Class Action (2024)[25] places Mango and Brash undercover at P.S. 366, where they must protect a school mascot connected to S.U.I.T. security. The case draws on Brash’s childhood, General Inspector Moe’s past, and recurring agency equipment, while also introducing Junior Agent Zeb in a supporting role.[11]
It is more school-case mystery than central arc but still adds context for the characters and organization.[11]
9. InvestiGators: Weather or Not

InvestiGators: Weather or Not (2026)[26] returns to a larger citywide crisis when Mango and Brash investigate milk in the water supply, extreme weather, and a climate-related scheme.[12]
It also continues the radioactive-cracker thread left active in Class Action, bringing Daryl back into the series in a new form and extending one of the its longest-running continuities.[12]
Companion books
These companion books can be added to the main series for extra cases and humour; they are not required steps in the main-book sequence.[27-30]
1. InvestiGators: High-Rise Hijinks

InvestiGators: High-Rise Hijinks (2024)[2] follows Mango and Brash after a bank robbery in which the entire building disappears. The agents go undercover and pursue a mystery involving Dr. Doodledoo, a giant chicken scientist already part of the Science Factory side of the series.[27]
This entry is best treated as another Mango-and-Brash investigation.[27]
2. InvestiGators: Case Files

InvestiGators: Case Files (2025)[31] presents Mango and Brash with 6 shorter cases organized through the G.R.I.D. deduction system. These cases revisit S.U.I.T. headquarters, the Science Factory, the Mother of All Waffles, the carnival, and other familiar parts of the series world.[28]
It is a casebook-style entry, better read after the reader already knows the recurring locations, agents, and supporting figures.[28]
3. InvestiGators: The Big Snappy Joke Book

4. InvestiGators: Puzzle Adventures

InvestiGators: Puzzle Adventures will be published on May 25, 2027.[33]
Agents of S.U.I.T. series
The Agents of S.U.I.T. spin-off shifts the focus to other agents, including Cilantro, Monocle, Bongo, and Marsha, and develops its own continuing storylines. It offers additional reading within the S.U.I.T. world rather than further volumes in the original series.[13-17]
Read the Agents of S.U.I.T. books in publication order,[3][34-37] starting with the first spin-off book and following the sequence below.

1. Agents of S.U.I.T.

As the first spin-off book, Agents of S.U.I.T. (2023)[3] moves the focus from Mango and Brash to Cilantro, a chameleon agent whose natural camouflage and independent methods do not fit comfortably with S.U.I.T. protocol. Paired with Monocle, she investigates crop circles, an old rural base, intelligent sheep, and an alien threat.[13]
This book establishes the spin-off’s interest in other agents and wider S.U.I.T. assignments.[13]
2. Agents of S.U.I.T.: From Badger to Worse

The second spin-off book, Agents of S.U.I.T.: From Badger to Worse (2024),[34] shifts primary attention to Bongo and Marsha, the badger agents known as the B-Team. Their Bora Bora case involves bungalow burglaries, bees, stolen electronics, and a pineapple-related scheme, while Monocle’s outpost subplot continues from the first spin-off.[14]
This book ends with unresolved developments involving C-UBE and the ghostly General InSPECTRE.[14]
3. Agents of S.U.I.T.: Wild Ghost Chase

Agents of S.U.I.T.: Wild Ghost Chase (2025)[35] follows from the Monocle, C-UBE, and General InSPECTRE thread set up in From Badger to Worse. Junior Agent Zeb, Cilantro, Bongo, and Marsha pursue a crisis that disables S.U.I.T. technology and leads them through a series of legendary mysteries.[15]
This is the most continuity-dependent spin-off book, resolving the old farm-base and General Inspector Tract storyline.[15]
4. Agents of S.U.I.T.: Sew Much Trouble

Agents of S.U.I.T.: Sew Much Trouble (2026)[36] returns to the spin-off ensemble, especially Bongo, Marsha, Cilantro, and Sven. Its central case involves a stolen secret barbecue sauce, a fashion-design competition, holographic disguises, and a former fashion student seeking revenge.[16]
It also uses Mango and Brash in a parallel court subplot, reinforcing the spin-off’s connection to the original series.[16]
5. Agents of S.U.I.T.: Tomb and Gloom

Agents of S.U.I.T.: Tomb and Gloom, which will be published on February 11, 2027,[37] places Cilantro in charge of her first mission and brings several characters back into play, including Mango, Brash, Zeb, and the agency itself.[17]
This book expands the series through a larger crisis involving S.U.I.T., space travel, ancient threats, and unusual technology.[17]
