1. Loving Romeo
Loving Romeo (2024)[2] follows former boxer Romeo Knight as he prepares to return to the ring and grows closer to Demi Crawford, whose family history is tied to his past. Their romance develops alongside Demi’s efforts to establish Magnolia Beans and address problems involving her brother and her father’s choices.[7]
This opening installment establishes Magnolia Falls, the Ride or Die friendships, and the conflicts that later books carry forward through other couples.[7]
2. Wild River
Wild River (2024)[3] pairs attorney River Pierce with Ruby Rose, who returns home after her father’s stroke and temporarily takes charge of Whiskey Falls. Their combative attraction grows as Ruby reassesses her career, family responsibilities, and instinct to solve everyone else’s problems.[8]
This novel broadens the series by developing River’s history and Ruby’s connection to the wider group while revisiting characters from the first book.[8]
3. Forbidden King
Forbidden King (2024)[4] follows Kingston Pierce and Saylor Woodson, whose childhood closeness resurfaces when she returns to Magnolia Falls to open a romance bookstore. Their attraction is complicated by Saylor’s brother Hayes, Kingston’s closest friend, and the family trauma that first brought them together.[9]
This installment expands the Ride or Die group’s past while advancing the community’s relationships and businesses.[9]
4. Beating Heart
Beating Heart (2024)[5] centers on single father Nash Heart, his son Cutler, and pediatrician Emerson Chadwick, who arrives in town after a betrayal. Nash and Emerson’s relationship is shaped by Cutler’s health needs, Emerson’s career plans, and the question of whether she will make Magnolia Falls her home.[10]
This book advances the series’ family-focused continuity while developing Nash beyond his earlier supporting role.[10]
5. Finding Hayes
Finding Hayes (2024)[6] reunites firefighter Hayes Woodson with Savannah Abbott, the childhood best friend who left Magnolia Falls. An inheritance draws them into a marriage arrangement as they revisit the silence and misunderstandings that separated them.[11]
This installment brings Hayes’s personal history to the foreground while continuing the changing lives of the couples.[11]
