1. Tattoo

Tattoo (2007)[2-3] begins with Bailey Morgan and her three friends buying temporary tattoos that awaken unexpected supernatural abilities. This book establishes the central group, the magical rules surrounding the tattoos, and the Sidhe conflict that draws Bailey into a hidden struggle between the human realm and an ancient mystical world.[6]
It is the necessary foundation for Bailey’s later role and identity.[6]
2. Fate

Fate (2009)[4-5] continues after Bailey has become the Third Fate and follows her as she divides her life between ordinary high school and the mystical Nexus, where she helps weave human lives. This book expands the series from the initial tattoo-based awakening into the wider Sidhe society, including courts, allegiances, and Bailey’s place between worlds.[7]
Its plot depends on the identities, powers, and friendships established in Tattoo.[7]
